PSJA Bearette commits to inaugural UTRGV drill team

SAN JUAN — PSJA Early College High School Senior Rehanna Reyes, a dedicated member of the PSJA ECHS Bearettes, signed a letter of commitment April 8 to join the inaugural University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Drill Team set to debut in 2025.

This achievement reflects Reyes’ exceptional talent, commitment, and passion for dance, as well as her unwavering dedication to excellence both on and off the dance floor.

The opportunity to join the inaugural UTRGV Drill Team represents a significant milestone in Reyes’ dance journey, providing her with a platform to further cultivate her talents.

Beyond her achievements in dance, Reyes has also distinguished herself academically as a two-year member of the National Honor Society ranking in the top 20% of her graduating class.

Reyes said she thanks her family, friends, coaches, and the PSJA ECHS Community for helping her reach this milestone.
